Is Acidic Foods Bad For Your Health?

An Overabundance of Acidic Foods Enhances Illness and Disease. The Type Of Food Consumed Is Critical In Balancing Normal pH Levels And Boosting Your Immune System.

Acidic foods are any foods that after being metabolized, the ash is below 7.0 pH level.

See why maintaining a slightly alkaline pH level in your body is critical!

In general, most meats, grains, cheeses, nuts and legumes produce an acid ash after they are metabolized. I am not saying that we should never eat these foods, but you should limit them or balance them with alkaline foods. Since a healthy body should be slightly alkaline, you should limit the intake of acidic forming foods. If your diet consists of more acidic foods, this may lead to acidosis, an acidic pH body level.

Alkaline water is an important step to balancing the acid in our bodies. Eating a good portion of alkaline food is also important. Most health practitioners recommend a balance of 60-80% alkaline, 20-40% acidic forming food.
